AMZ Scout Review And Tutorial

In this post I conducted an AMZ Scout review. AMZ Scout is a suite of software tools for Amazon sellers that gives you a much higher chance of success.

They reached out to me a few months ago to see if I would be interested in test driving their software.

Until now, I have only used Jungle Scout and Helium 10 but I had heard about AMZ Scout and was interested in seeing what they had to offer, but just haven’t had the time to look into it.

I finally took them up on their offer and checked it out. I was pleasantly surprised and will highlight my experience actually using the AMZ Scout software with screenshots and examples below.

In fact, I found a product that nets around $3,000 a month with little competition in less than 5 minutes using one of the tools in the suite, as you can see in the video below.

I also published a video on YouTube which you might prefer so I am embedding that below if you’re a video person rather than a reader.

I’m only going to walk through the tools in the suite that are the most valuable in my opinion, not all of them.

So let’s dive right in.

Reverse ASIN Lookup

Simply enter any product ASIN from Amazon and see all of the keywords it is ranking for.

This is extremely helpful in identifying keywords you would probably miss and is one of the most important tools to use.

For example, we ran this on a bubble gun and found lots of keywords with thousands of searches every month that we had no idea existed.

Lots of extra sales to be gained by using this tool, which more than pays for the monthly fee for the software.

Keyword Tracker

This tool will allow you to enter your product along with specific keywords you want to track for it.

It will check each day and show you what position you are ranking for in Amazon for each keyword.

It also includes a graph that shows your rankings over time.

This tool is very helpful to see if your ranking efforts are paying off or if you need to focus on specific keywords that aren’t improving in the rankings on Amazon.

Product Database

With this tool, you can search for products to sell on Amazon using a broad technique or getting specific with their wide variety of filters.

My preferred method for this tool is entering a set of parameters into the filters to find products that have low competition, little to no reviews, but selling at least 300 units per month.

This is a great way to find products to sell on Amazon when you don’t have a clear starting point and need some ideas.

Product Tracker

With this feature, you can enter any product ASIN from Amazon and track their daily sales.

It works by checking their available inventory each day and calculating the difference to determine exactly how many units they sold in the last 24 hours.

It’s great when it works but if their inventory is above 999 units, this feature won’t work.

It works well for products with low sales volume but not so great for high volume products as those sellers usually stock well over 1000 units.

These are the 5 tools in the suite that in my opinion, are the most valuable.

They also have a browser extension that will allow you to compare products while browsing on Amazon, which can speed your research up a bit, as well as several educational videos on how to use the tools, how to sell on Amazon using a variety of methods, the hottest current products selling well on Amazon, and some professional services for hire if you want to outsource some of your tasks like product listing creation and more.

AMZ Scout Pricing

AMZ Scout’s monthly pricing plan is $49.99 and if you use this discount link, your first month is $15 off.

It is the best value when compared to Jungle Scout’s monthly fee of $69 and Helium 10 at $79 per month.

So that’s it for my AMZ Scout review.

I hope you found it helpful and wish you the best of luck in your journey selling on Amazon.
